- 2 ozRye whiskey
- 0.25 ozAbsinthe (rinse)
- 1 wholeSugar cube
- 4 dashPeychaud's bitters
- 1 dashAngostura bitters
Instructions
Chill a rocks glass. In a mixing glass, muddle sugar cube with Peychaud's and Angostura bitters. Add rye and ice, stir until well chilled. Rinse the chilled glass with absinthe, discard excess. Strain the cocktail into the glass — no ice. Express lemon peel over the drink, discard.
