Ingredients

  • 2 ozBourbon (or rye)
  • 0.25 ozDemerara sugar syrup 2:1
  • 2 dashAngostura bitters
  • 1 dashOrange bitters (optional)

Instructions

Add sugar cube to rocks glass. Saturate with bitters and a splash of water. Muddle to dissolve. Add bourbon and a large ice cube. Stir 20–30 seconds. Express orange peel over the glass, rub around the rim, and drop in.
